Day of the Dead Ofrendas
Day of the Dead Ofrendas
On View: October 22- November 18
This 2026 Día de los Muertos celebration invites our community to experience the beauty, depth, and vibrancy of this cherished cultural tradition. We will present stunning, authentic ofrendas, traditional altars that honor loved ones whose memories continue to guide and inspire us.
This year's ofrendas are inspired by the theme of corn and wheat, symbolizing life, food, and continuity. The theme reflects both the Indigenous roots of these crops and the European influences produced through cultural fusion, offering a powerful interpretation of how these tradtions intertwine to shape Día de los Muertos. This exhibit also showcases the diversity of regional Mexican customs while honoring the blend of Aztec and Spanish traditions that give Día de los Muertos its enduring meaning.
Gallery Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
