Experience the debut of the MKE Latin Legends Orchestra, a 25-piece Latin big band honoring the legacy of Milwaukee’s Latin music community. Led by Artistic Director Eduardo Magallanes, this commemorative performance brings together musicians from some of Milwaukee’s most recognized Latin ensembles, featuring guest artists and a powerful repertoire of festive holiday favorites alongside beloved Latin classics from the 1930s through the 1970s. About the Band
The MKE Latin Legends Orchestra, founded by Artistic Director Eduardo Magallanes, is a 25-piece Latin big band created to honor the legacy, artistry, and community of Milwaukee’s Latin musicians. Bringing together musicians from some of the city’s most recognized Latin ensembles alongside featured guest artists, the project celebrates the sound, history, and cultural impact of large Latin ensemble music in Milwaukee. Rooted in community and legacy, the orchestra highlights the musicianship of local artists while creating a powerful tribute to the past, present, and future of Latin music in the city.
