Celebrate Day of the Dead at Latino Arts! El Santo Golpe is a high-energy Afro-Latin music collective from Riverside, California, bringing a powerful “hit” of joy, rhythm, and connection wherever they perform. Blending traditional sounds from the Afro-Latin diaspora with modern beats and irresistible grooves, their music creates a space where cultures, generations, and communities come together as one.

Formed in 2016 by artivist Ulises Rodriguez, the group transforms every stage into a vibrant celebration of life. Their sound is driven by the pulse of jaranas, the stomp of the tarima, the hypnotic melodies of the accordion, and the deep resonance of global percussion.

El Santo Golpe is more than a band, it is a movement that invites audiences to dance, laugh, and experience alegría through the universal language of music and culture.

This event will feature an opening performance by the Latino Arts Strings Program.
