The bright lights and cheer of the holiday season go hand-in-hand with toys, and were complimented by colorful representations of the artistically crafted wooden toys from Venezuela. This unique exhibit emphasized the universality of toys and the ability of the smallest items to have such a great role in sharing history and culture, and the opportunity to discover these toys in a hands-on manner is perfect for children. Five artisans displayed their pieces, including mechanical and hand toys. These beautifully crafted specimens captured the attention and imagination of current culture and were rich in tradition.
