This special event series highlights local artists and hands-on art projects that are relevant to interesting and exciting current event topics. Join us to expand your horizons in art and current events while engaging in conversation with friends and community members and enjoying delicious tacos!

Join artist Brianna Hernández Baurichter for a guided exhibition tour and drawing workshop! She will share her process, materials, and inspiration behind the works in Reconstructing Reality. Then the group will participate in a drawing workshop to explore Brianna’s creative process first-hand. Participants will get their hands dirty with charcoal, practice getting into the creative mindset through action and reflection, and craft a unique experience of art together, while creating a an individual piece to take home. Not familiar with art-making – no worries. No prior drawing skill are needed for this hands on “Artist Talk and Taller”, which will also include tacos!
