Celebrate Day of the Dead with Grupo Bella

Helping us celebrate the special holiday of Day of the Dead is Grupo Bella from Los Angeles, California! Fronted by Grammy award winning vocalist Vanessa Ramirez, the music of Grupo Bella is brought to life by the likes of Diana McConnell (guitarron), Maria Reyes (vocals/violin/melodica) and harpist Michael Tejada. Together on the stage, they shine! Expert musicianship and sheer passion support the quintet's interpretations of Mexican Folk music with an ever-evolving sound. The instrumentation of the group is Mariachi, but what emerges is an enticing fusion of Mexican Pop, Boleros, Huasteco and more! 

Grupo Bella will be accompanied by our very own Latino Arts Strings Program, a nationally recognized and award winning music education program.
