Day of the Dead Ofrendas

Día de los Muertos OfrendasOctober 28 - November 18

Opening Reception:
Friday, November 4 | 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Latino Arts’ annual Day of the Dead celebration features a bright and eclectic collection of ofrendas (altars) prepared by local, regional, and international artists. Exhibiting presenters share their tributes to lost loved ones as a celebration of their lives and accomplishments, often decorating their altars with their loved ones’ personal effects and favorite items.

Día de los Muertos celebrations frequently feature colorful floral arrangements, photographs, and skeleton iconography.

Exhibitions in the Latino Arts Gallery are open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. for a suggested donation of $1.

Don't miss the second annual Day of the Dead Parade!
