The Sights and Sounds of Spring 2010!
Dance to the big band jazz of Folklore Urbano, feel the power of words with the slam poetry of First Wave Student-Artist Showcase, and see classical musicianship at it's finest from La Catrina Quartet-- this spring in the Latino Arts Auditorium.

From the non-traditional displays in Cuban Artists' Books and Prints: 1985-2008, to the bold and emotive paitings of Freedom Without Borders, to the surreal folk-inspired art of Coexistencia en Chiapas y Aquí-- the Latino Arts Gallery has several awe-inspiring and culturally-unique visual art experiences to offer this sping.

Join us at the Panel Discussion on the Works of Ediciones Vigía, as seen in Cuban Artists' Books & Prints: 1985-2008. The event will take place on Thursday, February 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Special Collections section on the 4th Floor of the UWM Golda Meir Library.
