Celebrate this colorful tradition with the community at the Día De Los Muertos Parade. Staging at 4:00 p.m.; Procession at 5:00 p.m.
Long ago the gypsies that settled in Spain made their homes in caves in the mountains among "peñas," or large rocks. At night, they gathered around bonfires to share their sorrows and joys though music, dance and stories.
Echoing this tradition, the United Community Center's Café el Sol presents its own version of Peñas on Friday nights, with live music and dance, along with our unique Latin-American-style fish dinner buffet.
For more information, visit the Café el Sol website.
