Known as the Frank Sinatra of his genre, Puerto Rican Bomba and Plena singer Angel Luis Torruellas’ first professional performance was at the age of nine.

Now in his mid-seventies, he has appeared on more than 125 professional recordings and taken the stage internationally, including the prestigious Carnegie Hall and our own Latino Arts Auditorium in 2003.

Torruellas will perform with an arsenal of the region’s most talented musicians, including cuatro virtuoso El Mostro, that will surely dazzle Latin music fans of all generations and genres.

Tickets for the evening show are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors 60 and over, $15 for full-time students, and $8 per student in groups of 10 or more. Our Dinner & A Show special features Café el Sol's Friday fish buffet before the performance (beverage and gratuity not included) for $32.
