A Flor de Piel is a five-piece Mexican folk band dedicated to preserving Latin American music and culture. The band's catalog covers music from Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Brazil, Spain, and the United States.
Frontman Renato Cerón is a two-time Grammy nominated multi-instrumentalist and has been playing music since he was seven. He toured nationally for more than a decade while performing with Sones de Mexico Ensemble.

A Flor de Piel’s Friday evening show will be preceded by a special performance by the Latino Arts Strings Program.
Tickets for the evening show are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors 60 and over, $15 for full-time students, and $8 per student in groups of 10 or more.
