Opening Reception: Friday, December 7 at 5:00 p.m.
Following the exhibition opening, join us in the Latino Arts Auditorium for a performance by Bomba y Plena legend Angel Luis Torruellas.
Born in Colombia and now based in Texas, Luz Angela Crawford has found inspiration in creating ceramic pieces modeled after the textures and techniques developed by the indigenous cultures of South America.
She studied art in Colombia, Italy, Spain, and the United States and has exhibited her handmade pottery in over a dozen solo and collaborative exhibitions since 1997.
See more of her work at http://luzangelacrawford.com/.
Exhibitions in the Latino Arts Gallery are open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. for a suggested donation of $1.
